Classical music concerts in Whitstable

The Whitstable Music Society is a voluntary promoter of classical music. The concerts, which take place on the last Saturday of the month, are held in the St John's Methodist Church, 1 Argyle Road, CT5 1JS, 10 minutes walk from the centre of Whitstable and the Harbour. The season starts in September and continues through to April of the following year.

We have witnessed many memorable performances by both soloists and small groups of musicians over the 40 years that we have been holding these concerts, notably works by both modern and traditional composers such as Beethoven, Mozart, Mendelssohn and Shostakovich

We take great pleasure in giving up and coming musicians an opportunity to demonstrate their skills and promote their careers. We also welcome established players who give us the benefit of their artistry and skill that they have acquired over their professional careers.
