At Whitstable Music Society we are closely monitoring and following all advice of the Government, also other advisory bodies relating to COVID-19 (coronavirus).
Our highest priority is to ensure the health and well-being of our audience, artists, and volunteers. This means we encourage audience, artists, and volunteers to maintain good personal hygiene.
On the day of each of our concerts we hire our venue from the Methodist Church here in Whitstable and, on the day of our concerts, have asked them to extend their cleaning regimes to ensure that a high level of cleanliness is in place throughout the building.
In line with current guidance, we would kindly ask that if you have recently returned from a Category 1 country or area, or are experiencing any flu-like symptoms, that you refrain from going ahead with your planned concert visit. As a precautionary measure, we are also discouraging people who have recently returned from a Category 2 country or area from attending events.
For the latest information on COVID-19 (coronavirus) please see the UK Government’s advice.
Currently we remain optimistic that the final performances of this current season will be unaffected and look forward to welcoming you unless we are advised otherwise. We will continue to review the ongoing situation and will update this website accordingly.
Thank you for your cooperation and support.
